LOG Lyrics4U - 6/10/20

My friends, may you grow in grace; and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

• 2 Peter 3:18

This will be the final LOG Lyrics4U song devotional. I started them at the beginning of April when many of us felt lost and alone as we were staying at home in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic. But two and a half months later, things have slowly changed and it seems the need for these devos has dwindled. Although I was glad to do them, I’d rather do something that was useful to or enjoyed by more people. So I leave you the way we leave every LOG event, with a benediction. Literally, “a good (bene) word (diction). May you – may we all – continue to grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus. Whether that be by singing a song of praise to God each morning or reading a devotional every night before bed. Whether that be by digging into Scripture by using a Bible app or, now that we can get back together again, having deep and meaningful conversations with friends and mentors. Whatever it takes, let’s continue to grow: grow to love God more –– grow to love ourselves as God created us –– grow to love our neighbors as ourselves. See below for some suggestions of other online daily devotions. To God be the glory, now and forever!

One more option - one that I read almost every day is "Morning Reflections" by Glenn McDonald, a pastor from the Indianapolis area. His devos are not oriented to youth, but are easy to read and often quite interesting and meaningful.
