1/15

From the time I was saved in 8th grade, I had the love and dream of running a summer camp.  I told God that starting a camp is too big on my own and so you’ll have to find me a husband to do it with me if you’re serious about me doing camp. Sure enough, God gave me Tim, and a year after we got married we incorporated as CORE 2:15.

We believe that Philippians 2:15 is the CORE of who we are: “becoming blameless and pure children of God.”

So Tim & I took two years and served camps around the world while we picked away at the fundamentals of starting our own. In 2019, we had our first weekend of camp.  Now, in 2021, we have purchased a 33 acre farm on which build our dream.

People have come from everywhere to support us in prayer, money and service! There’s still a lot to clean up and prepare for before next year when we plan to launch our weekends of camp again! Within the next ten years (when funding allows) we wish to develop cabins, a ropes course, climbing wall, water slide and other memorable camp related things so that we can share the Gospel and instill youth with understanding that God created them unique and with a purpose.

I did LOG the last couple years of homeschool and then went to seminary. I told God the day He made sense to me, where ever you are, that’s where I want to be. So that’s what I did, I surrounded myself with programs, opportunities and people that would make that commitment real. And here we are, 15 years later I am still madly in love, deeply pleased with and thrilled to serve the God and king of the universe.

Consider this our invitation to YOU to come and worship God with us in our campfire nights or workday.

Saturday, October 3 will be our last campfire night for this season. It is free, family friendly and open to the public. Join us for an activity or music and a devotion with s’mores. 6:30pm – 8:00pm at 7397 E Emery Rd, New Carlisle, IN 46552.

And if you have a child 6-17 in age, they’re so welcome to participate with us for our camp days: September 18 and October 16 from 1:00pm – 3:30pm. It’s a taste of camp. Wild songs, games, devotions and activities packed into one afternoon.

And, finally, we have another workday coming up on Saturday, September 11th. Our first clean up day we tackled weeds and trees and out building clean out. It really opened things up and moved us forward so much! This time we will be transforming our barns to their future purpose! Our tall barn will be the activity center and the pole barn will the maintenance barn. We need all hands on deck to haul, clean, scrap and dump. That will really thrust us forward to making this a safer, cleaner, more welcoming place for people to make forever memories and experience Jesus in new ways!
