I love it when I read comments like these in the reflections notebook:
Before LOG, I could describe my religious life as a time full of questions. I questioned my faith constantly and, most importantly, if God was real. I've learned through LOG that God is everywhere and I have never felt God's presence as much as I have this weekend. LOG has helped my faith so much and I hope to always keep the people I've met close to me. Such loving people are people I hope I can always be around and I am so thankful for this opportunity. -- participant, LOG #99
Spiritual life is always full of questioning, learning and growing. I believe LOG is a uniquely successful way for teenagers (and adult leaders) to encounter God is a real and personal way and take steps along their spiritual journey. That is why I been so committed to sharing the love of God through these weekends that can last a lifetime.
For the record, I have been privileged to be a part of 120 LOG weekends
- LOG #5 in Novato, CA
- LOG #1-14 in Goleta, CA
- LOG #1 in Bellevue, WA
- LOG 2-3 in Carpenteria, CA
- LOG #1-99 here in Michiana
- LOG #1-3 (and maybe more) in Trenton, NJ
- plus many L•4•G's, QUESTS, Connections Retreats
Thanks be to God - and to all the youth and adults with whom I have blessed to serve!
